Quality Hotel Olavsgaard

Location is fantastic, there is a bus terminal next to the hotel so getting around the area is very easy, especially to Oslo and Lillestrøm. (I recommend looking into the Oslo Pass if you're planning to use the public transport in the area a lot!) The breakfast was great and included a wide variety of options. I personally really enjoyed the pancakes and the opportunity to make fresh waffles with the waffle maker. There seemed to be something there for everyone. The bed had two separate duvets, which we loved as it was quite warm when we visited and it allowed us each to be as covered/uncovered while sleeping as we wanted without fighting over a single duvet. Bed was also pretty comfy.

The hotel is a lovely building and lies in a good spot between Oslo and Lilleström. Breakfast is splendid, everything you want to eat or drink for breakfast is available, most of it also in more than one variety, a lot of regional specialties and everything as fresh as it can be. Also serves the restaurant a good a la carte menu for dining and the meals I had were very good. The room I had was spacey and comfortable and the bed slept really fine. I will definitely come back here when I've to do another visit.

The guy on reception in the evening was really really helpful. Despite being near main roads, it was quiet in the rooms. And the bed was comfortable. It mostly achieved what we needed as a quick overnight stopover on the way to Stockholm.

Location, friendliness of staff, beautiful selection of quality food. Professional service and communication, upto date technology ( my booking was on my iPhone wallet so never lost)
